Victims of Crime Helpline Volunteer Advocate
Volunteer advocates provide support, information, referrals and safety planning to victims who call the Victims of Crime Helpline. Accompaniment to local hospitals and police departments throughout the state of Rhode Island is provided as requested. A comprehensive 36 hour training is required which provides advocates with the necessary skills, knowledge and confidence to advocate for victims of crime. The Victims of Crime Helpline is a collaborative project between Day One and our agency on behalf of the RI Coalition Against Domestic Violence and the domestic violence member agencies.
Child Care Advocate
